Even when you’re unsure what to do…
Who else feels stuck at times and doesn’t know what to do?
I’ve found you’ll never go wrong with these seven biblical practices.
1) Praying
“Pray without ceasing.” (1 Thess. 5:17)
Talk to the One who knows the way.
2) Rejoicing
“Rejoice in the Lord always…” (Phil. 4:4)
Joy is rooted in Christ, not in circumstances.
3) Giving thanks
“Give thanks in all circumstances…” (1 Thess. 5:18)
Gratitude shifts your heart and perspective.
4) Speaking with grace
“Let your speech always be gracious…” (Col. 4:6)
Your words reflect the grace you’ve received.
5) Taking thoughts captive
“…take every thought captive to obey Christ.” (2 Cor. 10:5)
Submit your thoughts to God’s truth.
6) Staying ready to give a reason for your hope
“…always being prepared to make a defense…” (1 Pet. 3:15)
Your hope in Christ will shine, even in dark times.
7) Abounding in the work of the Lord
“Always abounding in the work of the Lord…” (1 Cor. 15:58)
Keep pressing on. Your labor is never in vain.
When you don’t know what to do, these actions will always keep you in the right direction.
They serve as anchor lines that keep you grounded in the One who is ruling over all.
