The shortest path from where you are to where God wants you to be is to…
Trust Him…
And believe He is directing the unfolding story of your life.
The Bible is clear on this…
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.”
Pr. 3:5-6
This may appear contrary to experience.
Because even in walking with God our paths may seem anything but straight.
But here is where we must not lean on our own understanding.
God has a way of making straight paths with crooked lines!
As He uses situations that seem completely twisted to get us to the place He intends for us.
So don’t be flustered by your circumstances…
Nor force a plan that may only seem right to you.
But keep trusting and obeying Him as He leads you daily.
This is the shortest path to where He wants you.
