Bringing dominion to the world is God’s fundamental instruction to humanity (Gen. 1:26-28).
But there are two ways to go about executing this mandate.
The first way–practiced by Adam–is hurried, independent from God and self-serving.
This way alienates and destroys.
The second way–lived out by Jesus–is slow, dependent on the Father and sacrificial.
This way builds up and brings life.
Every day we must choose which way we’re going to pursue our dominion callings…
By way of faithless grasping or obedient trust.
