“How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him…” (1 Kgs. 18:21).
Decision-making is a regular part of life.
And making good decisions is necessary if you’re going to become all God intends you to be.
But a lot of people find it hard to make decisions.
This is especially true of young people.
But people at any stage can get stuck when it comes to making decisions.
So how can we fix that?
The best thing you can do is get clear on your mission.
Because once you’re clear on that, you can filter out the possibilities facing you…
And then choose the option that fits best with your mission.
Unfortunately, many live without any compelling sense of mission in life.
And without a mission, their decisions are driven by the impulses or pressures of the moment.
So get clear on your mission in life.
It will make decision-making easier and better.
In general, we share a common mission to glorify God by getting dominion in the world with Him.
But you have something specific to do that fits within that larger mission.
Figure out what that is and watch your ability to make decisions improve.
Decision-making flows as we embrace the mission God has for us.
