The original Webster’s Dictionary (1828) puts it this way when it says ‘to cultivate’ is to:
> Improve by labor or study
> Advance the growth of
> Refine and improve by correction of faults
> Or enlarge the powers or good qualities of
Surely one of these applies to whatever work you have to do today.
How about making it the focus of your efforts and seeing what impact it has on your labors?
‘Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord…’ (Col. 3:23).
