It’s been 23 years since the 9/11 attacks on America.
To this day, questions remain about who was truly behind those horrific events.
But one truth stands firm…
Today’s anniversary reminds us that evil is real in our fallen world.
It operates on many levels—deceiving, confusing, demoralizing, and immobilizing…
All with the aim of destroying the blessings of God’s creation and His design for it.
Yet, as powerful as evil may seem, it does not have the upper hand—and it never will.
Because 2,000 years ago, the Son of God took on flesh and sacrificed His life to redeem the world.
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus secured the world’s complete redemption.
In the meantime, evil remains, and we must face it head-on.
We do this as we live by faith in the One who has already defeated it…
And by applying the truth that the way to overcome evil is with good.
So don’t let the evil that still afflicts our world demoralize you.
God sent His Son to save it.
And as you continue in faith, you play a vital role in bringing His redemption to the world around you.
‘Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good’ (Rom. 12:21).
