Some people view themselves as burdens.
Others grow frustrated by the weight others place on them.
Yet in a fallen world, burdens are something God has ordained.
We serve Him and others best when we embrace the call to bear one another’s burdens.
Practically, this means…
Sometimes we help others carry their burdens.
And other times we let them in to help with our own.
God works through mutual burden-bearing to accomplish His purposes.
It’s one of His ways of teaching us to look beyond ourselves and advance His kingdom.
This starts at home.
But extends from there to include neighborhood, church, workplace, and community.
“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Gal. 6:2).
