Your most important work…
I noticed another dead tree branch from our recent hurricane.
It reminded me of how vital it is to stay connected to the Source of life.
Think about it…
When Adam disconnected from God, death followed.
When Israel strayed from their Shepherd, they experienced captivity and ruin.
And when people today walk in the flesh rather than the Spirit, they bear rotten fruit.
Yet, when we stay connected to the Source of life, we flourish.
The Bible states this principle simply:
“Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5).
Your most important work is to live in union with your Creator and Redeemer.
Everything else flows from that.
“So then, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him” (Colossians 2:6).
