Recent reports reveal Bible sales have jumped 22% compared to last year.
Should we celebrate?
At the least, this is encouraging news.
Why the increase?
Some may be turning to God’s Word for hope, truth, or peace amidst life’s challenges.
Others may be drawn by fresh marketing efforts.
Encouragingly, many of these Bibles are reaching first-time buyers—including a younger demographic.
This is hopeful!
Yet let’s not forget: owning a Bible is just the first step.
Consider this: while 88% of Americans own a Bible, only 6% hold a biblical worldview.
The gap between owning the Word and living it is vast.
That’s why Made for Dominion exists: to equip men to grow in faith and apply it to every area of life.

Let’s pray this surge in Bible sales sparks a true spiritual awakening in our culture.
And may we be not only readers and hearers of God’s Word, but faithful followers who live it out.
