God made the world to function within hierarchies.
The most fundamental hierarchy is this:
God is over all, and we, as His image-bearers, are over creation.

Man
↓
Creation
There are other hierarchies too:
- Husbands and fathers over households.
- Elders and deacons over congregations.
- Civil rulers over cities, states, and nations.
In our fallen world, God’s hierarchies are often ignored or abused.
When this happens, dysfunction follows.
But when we are faithful within the hierarchies God has ordained, blessings come.
Consider the hierarchies you’re part of, and ask yourself:
Are you being faithful in them?
It starts with a life of submission to the Lord.
