Your mission depends on it…
Most men I know aspire to accomplish something meaningful with their lives.
But they often struggle to know exactly what that is and how to get there.
Prayerlessness is often a big part of the problem.
God designed us to do life and accomplish our purpose with Him…
To carry this out, we must pray.
The best example of this is Jesus.
Jesus lived here as the ultimate dominion man.
He came with a mission—and He fixed Himself on fulfilling it.
And he did it through prayer, in union with His Father, dependent on Him.
But here’s where we tend to get stuck—in our self-sufficiency.
We tend to believe we can handle things on our own, forgetting we were never meant to go it alone.
And our pride keeps us from asking for help–even from God.
We may pray when we’re desperate, but we miss having Him involved from beginning to end.
When we rely on ourselves, we lose God’s guidance and strength.
This blocks us from fulfilling what He intends for us.
Self-reliance and pride keep us stuck and stagnant.
But when we let go of that pride and turn to prayer, a shift occurs.
Prayer brings clarity, as we begin to see things as God does.
It gives us direction, showing us the next steps to take.
And prayer builds confidence—not in ourselves, but in God Himself.
Of course… prayerlessness comes easily—especially with all the demands on our time.
But we must overcome it.
It’s only by depending on God in prayer that you can know your course and stay on it–right until the end.
Resist prayerlessness.
Make prayer a non-negotiable part of your day–every day.
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped” (Ps. 28:7).
