National Day of Prayer
On this National Day of Prayer, let us come before the Lord with humble hearts and hopeful faith…
Almighty God,
You are holy and sovereign, and we come before You with reverence. You have established all things by Your Word, and we acknowledge that we are utterly dependent on You.
We confess that as a people, we have forgotten You. We have feared man more than God, sought comfort over faithfulness, and twisted freedom into license. Forgive us, Lord.
You created us to reflect Your glory, to work with purpose, to live with integrity, and to love what is good. But we have failed to represent You well in our homes, in our work, and in our nation. Heal what is broken. Rekindle a holy calling in us—one that honors You in every domain of life.
Turn our hearts back to Your truth. Your commands are life, but we’ve chased our own way and reaped sorrow. Still, we know Your mercy is greater than our sin. Thank You for Jesus, who bore our judgment and makes renewal possible.
Restore Your church. Let repentance begin with us. And let the fruit of this return reach far beyond our generation. May our children and our children’s children know the beauty of Your ways and the strength of a people who fear Your name.
