It’s His plan, from Eden to eternity…
The first few chapters of the Bible make it clear:
God made us to do life with Him.
Sin disrupted this design, but His intent never changed.
He wants us to live in His presence.
Scripture is filled with evidence of this…
– The experience of His nearness in the garden (Gen. 3:8).
– The promise of a Redeemer (Gen. 3:15).
– The assurance of His presence in the wilderness (Ex. 33:14).
– The incarnation–Immanuel–“God with us” (Mt. 1:23).
– The Holy Spirit within us (1 Cor. 6:19).
– The call to abide in a continuous relationship with Him (Jn. 15:4).
– The hope of living in God’s presence forever (Rev. 21:3).
From Eden to the New Earth, Scripture tells a unified story:
God wants you to do life with Him–not just for Him.
He’s not a concept to study from a distance.
He’s a person to walk with.
And not just any person—but your Father, your Shepherd, your most trusted friend.
His presence isn’t a bonus.
It’s the heart of how we’re meant to live.
Do what He’s called you to do—with Him—today.
