Are men lazy?

by | May 2, 2025

Maybe what they need is purpose, not pressure…

It’s often assumed men are lazy, undisciplined, and lack motivation.

But is this really the case?

I don’t think so.

From my experience, most men aren’t lazy—they’re just unclear.
They want to act, but they don’t know what they’re aiming at.

Understanding this changes everything.

If we assume men lack motivation, we’ll prod them with pep talks and pressure.

But if the real issue is a lack of clarity, they need something deeper.

They need a framework—a way to see who they are and what God made them to do.

Put another way:

Men don’t just need encouragement to change behavior.
They need to see and embrace God’s glorious design for them.

So they can:

– Know their identity as rulers under God

– Cultivate and guard the domains He’s entrusted to them

– Take godly initiative in their homes, churches, and communities

That’s what Made for Dominion is for.

And it’s bearing fruit—men are growing in patterns of dominion leadership rooted in prayer, purpose, and perseverance.
