The message drummed into us by secular culture is that God isn’t involved in everyday life.
And our beliefs about Him are only feelings and opinions, without any bearing on the real world we are a part of.
If you accept these assumptions, beware.
They will condition you to ignore God in your day to day existence.
And reduce your faith to nothing but a private devotional hobby.
Not only that…
It will make you numb…
Take away your initiative…
And leave you without hope, meaning and purpose.
So to live as God really made you to live, you must reject the lie that He is irrelevant.
And regular refresh yourself in the truth that it’s in Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28).
He is with us (Mt. 1:23).
And a God at hand, not a God far away (Jer. 23:23).
Who is near to all who call on him in truth (Ps. 145:18).
Revive yourself in this reality.
Pursue the business He has for you today.
And go after it with Him.
“… I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Mt. 28:20).
