Many believers struggle to connect their faith with the challenges of everyday life.
As a result, they find themselves living by biblical values in some areas while adopting worldly values in others.
This inconsistency leads to frustration because it’s a form of double-mindedness.
If left unresolved, this inner conflict brings about self-condemnation and spiritual stagnation.
So how can you bridge the gap between your faith and your daily life?
The Dominion Mandate in Genesis provides the necessary bridge.
From the beginning, God made us to rule and develop every part of our world with Him (Gen. 1:28).
This means your faith isn’t meant to be confined to church or spiritual disciplines—it’s meant to influence every area of your life.
So not only do you have permission to apply your faith to your work, relationships, cultural engagement, personal identity, etc.—God expects you to.
Granted, this isn’t always easy…
The world offers its own solutions and values, which commonly conflict with God’s ways.
But rest assured: applying your faith… though challenging… is what God desires for you.
As you take steps to live out your faith consistently, He will equip and strengthen you.
And over time, you’ll grow more confident and skilled at aligning your actions with His will.
Move forward in this today — take some area of your life where you need God’s presence and wisdom, and invite Him in.
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus…” (Col. 3:17).
