Beliefs drive behavior.
Unfortunately, we aren’t always conscious of what we believe.
So we must take care to stay aware of our core beliefs every day.
Here are three core beliefs I believe every man ought to keep at the forefront of his thinking
First, God made you in His image.
This has a humanizing effect in our dehumanizing culture.
It reminds you of your place in God’s order of creation.
And it also helps you relate to your fellow image-bearers of God.
Second, you’ve been made for dominion.
God put you here and keeps giving you breath for a reason.
Consider what that purpose is every day.
And be about the business of fulfilling it.
Three, you are redeemed in Christ.
Through Christ, your sins are forgiven.
And God is at work to restore you to your purpose.
Thank God for the freedom of redemption… stay away from stupid things that bring you shame… and get on with the work He has given you to do.
Without an awareness of these core beliefs we easily go adrift.
But in remembering them you bring the impact of your life to the world around you.
Just as God intends.
