Don’t Let Fear or Anxiety Steal Your Focus

A better way to face what weighs you down…

Fear and anxiety are everyday problems.

We’d all love to escape them—but worse than their discomfort is what they cost us.

They distract.
They cloud our focus.
They pull us away from the kingdom work God is calling us to.

That’s why we need to deal with fear and anxiety—not just emotionally, but biblically.

Jesus gives us a simple, clear framework for this in Matthew 6.

Here’s how to reframe those moments when fear or anxiety rise:

1. Pause and Identify the Fear or Worry
→ What exactly am I afraid of or anxious about?

2. Refocus Through a Kingdom Lens
→ What would it look like to seek God’s kingdom and righteousness in this moment?
→ What is the Spirit directing me to do or obey right now?

3. Entrust the Future to God
→ What provision has God given me for today?
→ What burden am I carrying that belongs to tomorrow?

You will face fear and anxiety.

We all do.

But you don’t have to be ruled by them.

Christ the Lord makes it so you can live with clarity, courage, and kingdom-first focus.

One day at a time.
