Everybody knows the Christian life is one of faith.
But we don’t always recognize that faith may require courage.
All the spies who explored the land of Canaan likely had some measure of faith.
But it took the courage of Joshua and Caleb to defy the fearful and rebellious majority to take the Promised Land.
Remember this as you face your own challenges.
It is one thing to have faith and trust God.
But to conquer where He is calling you will in all probability take courage.
Especially if it means defying what’s conventional in the eyes of the world.
‘Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go’ (Josh. 1:9).
