There’s an old quote that says:
“Culture is religion externalized.”
The quote reveals a direct link between what a culture is like and its underlying religion.
But, we tend to ignore the relation between faith and culture.
We assume culture just happens.
And whatever culture we live in is an unspiritual concern.
Unfortunately, this is producing a lot of rotten fruit around us.
So, there’s a need to embrace the reality that the condition of our culture flows from the strength of our faith.
And the best thing we can do to revive our ailing culture is to renew our faith in Jesus as Lord over all.
And apply that faith wherever God calls you.
Faith drives culture.
“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Cor. 10:31).
