Faithfulness has to do with specifics.
It gets down to the explicit things God wants us to do–or not do.
In other words…
You can’t claim to follow God and ignore the particulars.
Because faithfulness is always tested in the details.
The Bible attests to this.
When King David was about to die, He charged his son Solomon to be faithful in keeping the specifics of God’s ways (1 Kings 2:1-3).
In the book of Nehemiah, the people confessed they had done wrong by their failure to keep specific laws, commandments and testimonies (Neh. 9:33-34)..
And the Apostle Paul reveals that faithfully loving others has to do with details of how we treat them (Rom. 13:8-10).
A major part of life has to do with how we handle the details.
It’s here we show our faithfulness.
And it’s through faithfulness we fulfill the mission God has for us.
