The great preacher Charles Spurgeon once said:
Happy is the heart that finds its joy in the commands of God and makes obedience its recreation.
At a time when so many seem unhappy, we can use the insight of these words.
There truly is no greater happiness than that which comes from being faithful to God.
So take note for yourself…
Whenever you find yourself unhappy, downcast, gloomy, etc., consider that it could be God’s way of getting your attention and leading you to obey Him.
Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord!
Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart.
