Don’t ignore the One you need most

You can’t live the life God intends without Him…

Yesterday was Pentecost Sunday—a day to remember the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

It’s an important reminder, because many of us go days (or weeks) without thinking much about Him.

In fact, the Holy Spirit is the most ignored member of the Trinity.

Yet He’s the primary way God works in the world—and in you.

He’s not a force or a feeling.

He’s God. Personal, present, and powerful.

He is the One who brings new birth (John 3).

He convicts of sin and points us to Jesus (John 16).

He comforts, teaches, guides, and empowers (Romans 8, Acts 1).

He produces fruit in your life (Galatians 5).

He even helps you pray when you don’t know what to say.

In short: you can’t live life as God designed it without Him.

So if you’re tired, stuck, or just going through the motions—maybe it’s because you’re ignoring the One you need most.

Remember:

You can’t conjure up the power you need by yourself.

You just have to stay close to the One who provides it.

“If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.” —Galatians 5:25

Ask the Spirit to fill you afresh.

Acknowledge your dependence.

Listen. Respond.

He’s not far. He lives in you.

Walk with Him.
