From anxiety to action

by | Sep 11, 2024

I once heard a wealthy man admit the Bible verse that makes him most nervous is Luke 12:48:

“To whom much is given, much will be required.”

With this verse in mind, he’s left wondering whether he’s done enough with what he’s been entrusted.

We can all relate to this struggle.

Whether we’ve been given a lot or a little, each of us carries the responsibility of stewardship.

Yet whatever God has placed in our hands, it’s no reason to be anxious.

Instead, it’s an opportunity to give thanks that our standing with Him doesn’t hinge on being perfect stewards.

It’s also an occasion to pause, reflect, and strategize on how to use what He’s given us for His kingdom.

So take stock of all the blessings you’ve received.

Think about how you can put them to their best use.

Then take faithful steps today to make it happen.
