How to get unstuck and start moving forward…
Many men feel like their lives aren’t going anywhere.
Nothing changes… no progress… just stuck.
I’ve been there myself, and it’s miserable.
But here’s something that’s helped me…
It involves joining God in His redemptive story.
History is His story–and it’s going somewhere.
…It began with creation.
…It suffered greatly from the fall.
…And is currently being redeemed by Jesus Christ.
The exciting thing is: we all have a part in that story.
And it’s in this story we find our way.
It’s how to get unstuck and start moving forward.
How?
Here are a few steps to take:
1) Take stock of your gifts, skills, and experiences.
2) Consider your interests–what you enjoy doing and tend to be good at.
3) Look for opportunities to move forward in line with the above, and prayerfully take a step.
Repeat this faithfully, and you’ll soon find yourself unstuck.
God wants to use you–and your uniqueness–in significant ways.
This will happen as you join your story with His redemptive story in the world.
It may involve staying where you are with a new perspective.
Or heading in a new direction.
Trust His leadership–and pace.
