Our culture is filled with distractions.
The constant stream of news, entertainment, and social media can easily keep you from fulfilling God’s purpose for you.
When you combine this with all the things we’re inclined to worry about, accomplishing your life’s mission can be tough.
But you can keep distractions at bay by staying focused on the work God has for you.
Scripture tells us:
Blessed are those servants whom the Master finds fulfilling the charge He gave them when He returns (Lk. 12:43).
It’s an important reminder that the Lord has things for us to accomplish.
He wants you thinking about the effect of your life…
And laboring faithfully to that end.
Jesus understood this as He navigated all the temptations He faced, and died on the cross saying, “It is finished.”
As His followers, we are to keep the same kind of focus.
