Living out God’s purpose for your life…
God created mankind to have dominion over creation.
This is the foundation of every man’s purpose.
But the fall of Adam brought a curse on the earth.
And instead of man ruling with His Creator, he finds himself under the oppressive dominion of the world, the flesh and the devil.
Yet, Jesus came to set us free from this distortion of the Father’s design and restore His divine order.
And as the second Adam, He overcame the damage done by Adam.
Through faith in Him, Jesus rescues us from the dominion of darkness and brings us into His kingdom.
And by way of this transforming work, God is renewing all of creation.
By His grace, we are active participants in His plan.
To walk in this calling, we must daily choose to reject the reign of sin in our lives.
And instead offer every part of ourselves as instruments of righteousness (Romans 6:12-14).
God has given you a glorious purpose in Him.
Without this purpose, the pursuit of pleasure will dominate your life.
So embrace the good work God has set before you.
Put off the old self and put on the new, living as one redeemed and renewed in Christ.
