Prayers for the election, our leaders, and a revival of truth…
This morning, I met with a small group of men for a Made for Dominion gathering.
We prayed over today’s election, civil leaders, and the body politic, guided by twelve biblical principles.
(If you’d like to see those principles, contact me and I’ll gladly share them with you.)
We also spent time talking about and praying for a revival of truth in our day.
Recent years have seen an overwhelming surge of lies, propaganda, and censorship, making it harder than ever to discern what’s real.
Sadly, the truth has been trampled—or, as the Apostle Paul put it, “suppressed in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18).
This disregard for truth has fueled confusion, cynicism, and even righteous anger.
If this resonates with you, don’t let it fester.
Instead, let it stir in you a deeper hunger and commitment to the truth.
God desires truth within our hearts (Psalm 51:6)…
And He calls us to walk in that truth (3 John 1:4).
Our well-being depends on it (Psalm 25:10).
So, as you pray today for the election, would you also ask God to bring a great hunger for truth across our nation?
And let’s pray that His Spirit would act powerfully to ensure that truth is no longer suppressed but revealed—no matter what opposition may arise.
After all, it’s truth that gives us the direction, freedom, and experience of His blessings that we want and need.
