Redirecting your thoughts to truth, goodness, and beauty…
Your imagination is one of the greatest gifts God has given you.
But like any gift, how you use it determines its impact on your life.
You can use your imagination to dwell on what is destructive:
— Nursing old resentments
— Magnifying your fears
— Fueling lusts and temptations
Or you can use it for what is good:
— Contemplating truth
— Envisioning good works
— Planning something beautiful
The mind is always active—always imagining, anticipating, or reflecting.
The question is: what are you feeding it?
Philippians 4:8 gives us a guide:
“Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure… think about these things.”
When you direct your imagination toward God’s purposes, it becomes a tool for creativity, faith, and action.
So become a master at pivoting your thoughts toward what is true, good, and beautiful.
Today, take a moment to assess:
Is your imagination leading you closer to God’s purposes or pulling you away?
Choose wisely—because what you imagine shapes who you become.
