The sun will rise today on 8.1 billion souls.
And due to God’s common grace, it will provide energy to the evil and the good alike (Mt. 5:45).
But those who live by faith in Christ have something more.
They have…
… the light of life who keeps them from walking in the darkness (Jn. 8:12).
… the sun of righteousness who will vindicate everyone who trusts Him (Mal. 4:2).
… and a future of shining like the sun in the kingdom of their Father (Mt. 13:43).
Praise God for the light of a new day — with the hope and opportunities it brings.
But even more…
Thank God we have the sun of righteousness to lead us.
“For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light” (Ps. 36:9).
