Everyone faces problems.
If we’re not careful, these problems can dominate how we view ourselves…
… shaping our hope, motivation, and ability to face the future.
But your life is more than the difficulties you encounter.
Your sins, failures, and fears—whatever they may be—do not define you.
The devil would have you believe otherwise.
That’s why he operates as an accuser, trying to distort your identity and sabotage your life’s mission.
But in Christ, there is no condemnation (Rom. 8:1).
By His grace, your identity and purpose are secure.
You are not your problems.
You have problems—everyone does—but thanks to God’s mercy, you should never identify yourself by them.
Because God is our Father, we can be confident that He is with us in whatever challenges we face.
We can also be assured that He is using them to shape His larger purpose for our lives within His kingdom.
Don’t let your problems define or deter you.
Instead, consider how God may be using them to prepare you for a greater work.
“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose” (Rom. 8:28).
