God’s Grace Still Reforms Lives

The reformation we need starts in the heart…

Today marks the 508th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation—when Martin Luther protested the corrupt practices of the church in his day.

But behind Luther’s bold action was something deeper: a personal encounter with the grace of God.

Luther wasn’t driven by self-effort or ambition.

His reformation began when he discovered that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

From that truth flowed a lifelong mission to see the world around him brought into line with God’s Word.

Every genuine reformation—whether in the church, in society, or in your own life—flows from the same source:

God’s grace at work within us.

As you think about areas of your life that need reform, remember this:

It’s not about what you can do for God.

It’s about what He is doing in you—by His grace and through His Spirit.

Where might God be calling you to reform today?

And how can you depend more fully on His grace to pursue it?

“He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ” (Phil. 1:6).

Grace-driven reform is still possible.

Let it begin with you, where you are today.

Act on the grace He is working in your heart.
