Two responses to discouragement—only one builds the future…
There are two responses to discouragement.
1 – Despair and grow passive.
2 – Tend your domains with an eye toward a better day.
Every man gets discouraged now and then.
But what matters is how you respond.
No matter how much you feel like withdrawing, there is always something constructive you can do.
And your story is not over.
So look at the domains God has entrusted to you.
Consider what you can do to develop and protect them today.
And take action.
Your faithfulness matters more than you realize.
“Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart” (Gal. 6:9).
The future is built by men who refuse to abandon their post.
Passivity is a trap.
So tend what God has given you.
