Are you asking enough questions?

by | Mar 14, 2024

Looking back on my school days, I realize I didn’t ask enough questions.

I guess I was afraid if I asked a question I’d look ignorant.

Since then, I’ve discovered asking questions is a powerful tool.

By them you can…

Get information you need to proceed.

Engage others in conversation and build relationships.

Encourage people think differently about something.

And tactfully challenge what may seem dubious.

Jesus asked questions all the time…

To get people to reflect on their beliefs, attitudes and actions.

“Can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life?” – Matthew 6:27

“Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?” – Matthew 7:3

“Who do you say that I am?” – Matthew 16:15

As Jesus used questions to accomplish His mission in life, so should we.

Are you asking enough questions?

Don’t underestimate the power of a question.
